Outside Eats ("we," "our," or "us") operates outside-eats.com, a restaurant discovery guide for the San Francisco Peninsula. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

• Account information — When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Saved restaurants — When you save a restaurant, we store a reference to that restaurant tied to your account so your list syncs across devices.
• Usage data — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, search terms used). This data is anonymized and aggregated.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain your account
• To sync your saved restaurants across devices
• To send account-related emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset
• To improve the app based on aggregated usage patterns

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal information to anyone
• We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
• We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising
• We do not collect payment information

Data Storage

Your account data and saved restaurants are stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service. Data is stored in the United States. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use Outside Eats. Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Delete your account — Request that we delete your account and all associated data
• Update your information — Correct inaccurate information in your account
