The restaurant has outdoor patio seating lined with colorful blooms that reviewers consistently single out as one of the more pleasant spots to sit on El Camino Real.
The kitchen covers the full range of Thai standards — pad Thai in house-made tamarind sauce, pad see ew, drunken noodles, rad na, spicy fried rice, butterfly shrimp fried rice, massaman, panang, and green curry — and supplements it with a Dara Signatures section. The standouts include the braised beef panang curry, Thai BBQ chicken (marinated leg quarter, flame-grilled with sweet chili sauce), the Trout Delight (golden crispy whole trout with Thai green apple salad and roasted cashews), Thai BBQ pork, and a po-taek seafood soup.
