Spinning Dough at Modern Eats
Oakland pop up chef Jeff Chin brought his Asian fusion pizzas to Millbrae's Modern Eats in April, running a hybrid menu alongside the pizzeria's existing offerings. Look for the purple ube pie plus rotating flavors like longanisa and blackberry. Note: this is a menu takeover inside an existing restaurant, not a standalone new business.
The Old Post Office
The Old Post Office is a restaurant and bar from Bacchus Management Group, the group behind The Village Pub and Selby's, in Burlingame's restored 1941 Art Deco post office. Executive chef Jonathan Granada's prix-fixe dinner offers modern takes on dishes from 1940s restaurants and hotels, including a dry-aged duck for two carved tableside, while the Postmaster's Bar serves a more casual à la carte menu with a burger and duck fat fries.
The Parlour House
The Parlour House brings sandwiches, wraps, bowls and salads to the former Na Na’s Kitchen space on Visitacion Avenue. The neighborhood lunch spot also offers catering. Its pickup window and dining room are temporarily closed while new equipment is installed and are expected to reopen by October 19, 2026.

About 300 wine labels, split roughly between French, Californian, and Italian, plus escargot, moules marinieres, pate, and an all day cafe and lunch menu.

Yutori
Chef Jerome Ito’s Japanese marketplace combines a cafe, deli and konbini-style market with a restaurant and bar. The cafe serves miso lattes, matcha drinks and house-made sandos, and the restaurant now offers evening service. Check the website for each area’s current hours.
Zac’s Bar & Grill
Zac’s brings burgers, steaks, seafood and classic bar bites to the former Office Bar & Grill space. A full bar, 16 draft beers and a spacious outdoor patio make it an easygoing spot for dinner and drinks.
