The Sandwich Guy is a family-run deli at 2070 Broadway in downtown Redwood City, in the space formerly occupied by Broadway Sandwich Market. It comes from Louay Obeidi of the family behind the Falafel Tazah restaurants. Sandwiches are made to order, hot or cold, with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses; the lineup includes hot pastrami, a Reuben, a tuna melt and an Italian-style combination with salami, prosciutto, mortadella and provolone. Salads and catering platters are also available. Orders can be placed in store, by phone or through delivery. Check the deli’s website for current offerings.
