Freewheel Brewing Company opened in 2012 with a stated mission of fusing English brewing tradition with the American craft beer scene. The lineup runs from English-style ales to IPAs, lagers and pilsners, poured alongside food and events at taprooms in Redwood City, Fremont and San Rafael. The Redwood City taproom has indoor and patio seating plus to-go ordering, and the brewery runs weekly events open to the public.
