California fusion cafe blending Korean inspired dishes with American comfort food and local craft beers.
Corner Table puts a playful Korean influence into an unusually varied café menu at Woodside Plaza in Redwood City. A kimchi burger layers a Wagyu patty with kimchi, a fried egg, cheese, and spicy mayo, while the kimchi burrito combines eggs, fried rice, noodles, and vegetables. We like how these dishes carry the same flavor ideas into different familiar formats. Brunch brings chicken croffles, street-corn avocado toast, and a potato hash with hot-link sausage and poached eggs. Later choices include bulgogi bibimbap, Korean fried chicken, and both classic and creamy rosé tteokbokki. Fish and chips, pasta, salads, and sandwiches provide other directions for a mixed group. Sweet croffles round out the selection. Corner Table is appealing when an ordinary café order sounds a little too predictable and everyone wants room to choose something different.
