Bay Area-born diner institution at Westlake Center open 24 hours with giant burgers, mile-high pies, breakfast all day, and hot dogs — a Daly City neighborhood staple since the 1950s.
Giant burgers, grand breakfasts, giant burritos, and pies make up the menu at this Daly City location of a chain founded in 1952. Founder Russ started it after looking for a restaurant that served hamburgers the way he liked them, with thick slices of onion and fresh toppings. Dale Power joined in 1970, and the partnership built the Nation's chain, with Oakland the first restaurant to carry the sign. Dine-in, online ordering, and catering are all offered.
