Acclaimed Peruvian restaurant and pisco bar inside the Pacifica Beach Hotel with second-floor ocean views and fresh ceviche.
Puerto 27 opened on April 27, 2013, inside the Pacifica Beach Hotel on Crespi Drive. Founders Julio and Zoila, both from Lima, named the restaurant for their late son Julito, whose birthday falls on that date, and they cook from family recipes handed down from their grandmother and mother. The Peruvian menu covers small plates, a full ceviche bar and homemade desserts, paired with a pisco bar. Ocean views come with the dining room, and the site also runs a live surf cam trained on Linda Mar Beach.
