Cobani Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay outpost of the acclaimed San Mateo Cobani, opened in 2025 at the former Fisherman's Taverna space.

Cobani brings Turkish and eastern Mediterranean dishes to San Mateo Road in Half Moon Bay, with kebabs, gyros, meze, and vegetables providing several ways to build a meal. We like the mixed grill as a way to compare preparations, from skewered lamb and chicken to seasoned ground meat and sliced gyros. Adana kebab combines minced lamb and beef with herbs and spices, while Alexander kebab layers sliced meat over bread with yogurt, tomato sauce, and butter. Falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, and stuffed eggplant create other possibilities, and Greek salad adds a fresh contrast to the grilled dishes.
