Hangetsu Sushi

Hangetsu serves what it calls Kuzushi Kaiseki, a meal combining kaiseki cuisine with omakase sashimi, sushi and other delicacies. The restaurant describes the format as an unconventional feast that respects the Japanese tradition it grew out of while drawing in dishes from Western cuisines, using a scorching technique to pull the umami out of the meat. It sits on the highway north of Half Moon Bay.
