Le Petit Bistro is a French restaurant in Mountain View, California.
Le Petit Bistro has cooked classic French food in Mountain View since 1989. Owner and chef Jean-Michel Peuvrelle was born in Pas-de-Calais in northern France, the son of a butcher, and apprenticed in Strasbourg while earning an accounting degree. The menu runs to escargot in garlic butter, pate maison, salad nicoise, vichyssoise, mussels, coq au vin, sweetbreads, duck, pepper steak and fish specials such as halibut. Desserts include tarte tatin, chocolate mousse, Grand Marnier cheesecake and a tourte almond cake.
