Family-owned Pacifica institution since 1975, serving Cantonese, Mandarin, and Szechuan cuisine one block from the ocean.
Tam's Cuisine of China gives a shared Chinese meal in Pacifica plenty of variety, from familiar favorites to larger dinner combinations. Pot stickers, wonton soup, honey walnut prawns, and Mongolian beef offer different textures and flavors around the same table. We like how the menu makes assembling a group order feel straightforward. Chicken chow mein, beef chow fun, and barbecue pork fried rice provide several possible foundations. Seafood choices extend to sole with black bean sauce, shrimp, scallops, and squid, while mu shu dishes bring another format into the mix. Family dinners combine soup, appetizers, entrées, and rice, helping diners sample complementary dishes. Bigger special dinners add options such as Peking duck and Fujian fried rice. Tam's appeal is the breadth of its Chinese menu, with room for both a familiar takeout order and a more elaborate gathering.
