Why We Love It

The Old Post Office is a restaurant and bar from Bacchus Management Group, the group behind The Village Pub and Selby's, in Burlingame's restored 1941 Art Deco post office, which keeps its terrazzo floors, marble walls and brass teller windows. Executive chef Jonathan Granada's dinner is a three-course prix fixe of modern takes on dishes from 1940s restaurants and hotels, including a dry-aged duck for two carved at the table. The Postmaster's Bar serves 1940s-inspired cocktails and a more casual à la carte menu with a burger and fries. There is also weekday lunch, weekend brunch and a private dining room.
