Specialty coffee roaster and cafe at 1035 El Camino Real with single-origin pour-overs, Italian espresso drinks, housemade pastries, and a thoughtful rotating menu of light food.
Coffeebar brings a little variety to the everyday coffee stop in downtown Menlo Park. Alongside espresso, cappuccino, and cold brew, the drinks menu includes honey almond lattes and a Mexican mocha with cinnamon and cayenne. We like those thoughtful flavor combinations, which give a familiar coffee order a different direction without making the classics disappear. At the Chestnut Street café, breakfast can be as simple as a pastry or avocado toast with lemon, olive oil, and pea shoots. Breakfast burritos add eggs, cheese, beans, and a choice of vegetables with quinoa or pork chorizo, accompanied by salsa and crema. Matcha, chai, and lavender tea lattes broaden the choices beyond coffee. Coffeebar's appeal is that easy combination of a proper espresso menu, interesting non-coffee drinks, and food substantial enough to turn a quick stop into breakfast.
