Tropical tiki bar featuring exotic cocktails and island inspired Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine with fun, fresh, vibrant flavors.
Hula Hoops Restaurant & Tiki Bar brings a playful mix of Filipino and island-inspired flavors to South San Francisco. Its shared plates are an inviting place to begin: lumpia Shanghai, Spam musubi and sisig-topped tots offer different takes on snack food, while nachos can feature kalua pork or sisig. We like the way familiar bar-food formats become a route into a more distinctive set of ingredients. Ahi poke nachos swap tortilla chips for wonton chips and add tuna, avocado, seaweed salad and pineapple. Mini bibingka cornbread and Spam rice bites bring other possibilities to a group order. The tropical drinks menu includes tiki favorites and ube-inspired cocktails, with alcohol-free choices also listed. The restaurant describes its identity as a meeting of island food and enthusiasm for sports, making the central appeal a casual gathering built around flavorful, shareable dishes.
