Karakade Thai Cuisine has operated under its current ownership since November 2019, cooking homestyle Thai food with a Southern Thai accent in Redwood City. The menu features dishes the restaurant says are rare to find outside Thailand, including kua gling, Southern fried chicken, crab curry noodle, spicy and sour yellow curry, coconut green salad, lhon pu, tai pla curry and Phuket pork belly, or moo hong. Dishes follow authentic recipes with attention to how flavors and textures react together. Pickup ordering, delivery and catering are offered.
