La Fontaine Mountain View is a French/Italian restaurant in Mountain View, California.
La Fontaine opened in Mountain View in 2013 under executive chef Hasan Yildiz and general manager Eric Albuz, cooking Provencale-style French and Italian food from local and seasonal ingredients with spices from France and Italy. The restaurant is named after the 17th-century French poet and fabulist Jean de la Fontaine, whose imagery the owners cite as inspiration. Moules, salmon and duck breast are among the dishes shown. A second location opened in Walnut Creek in 2021, and the Mountain View restaurant also serves Sunday brunch and handles private events and catering.
