Food truck at Harbor Village lot serving Peruvian and Mexican street food including ceviche, fried pork with plantains, and empanadas.
Lamas Peruvian & Mexican Food Truck gives a Capistrano Road meal in Half Moon Bay two distinct culinary directions. Tacos, burritos, and quesadillas share the menu with lomo saltado, arroz chaufa, and ceviche. We like that a group can mix familiar Mexican street food with a fuller exploration of Peruvian cooking. Lomo saltado brings sautéed meat, onions, tomatoes, and fries together with rice, while arroz chaufa offers Peruvian-style fried rice. Ceviche combines seafood with lime, red onion, and rocoto, and pescado a lo macho layers a fish fillet with seafood in a creamy sauce. Empanadas, fried yuca, and sweet plantains add smaller choices for sharing. The truck's appeal is the range within a casual format, making a burrito stop an opportunity to discover another dish alongside it.
