McGovern's Bar

Irish pub atmosphere with influences from all over the world.

Open in downtown San Mateo since 1993, McGovern's Bar keeps a comfortable Irish pub atmosphere with influences from all over the world. Guinness and Smithwick's pour alongside a rotating craft beer selection and a bourbon collection that includes Old Rip Van Winkle. Four large flat screens carry sports, and the room also holds a pool table, darts, arcade games and beer pong. Live music and private event bookings are part of the schedule.
