Pacifica's beloved oceanfront seafood landmark at 100 Rockaway Beach Ave with legendary Dungeness crab sandwiches and fresh clam chowder.
Nick's traces its history to 1927, when Charles Gust, an immigrant from Greece, arrived at Rockaway Beach. The Pacifica restaurant looks out on a cove with views of the Pacific and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with fresh seafood always available on an extensive menu that includes prawn cocktails and deep-fried prawns. The lounge is built around a horseshoe bar the site compares to something out of an old movie, with a dance floor and live music on weekends. The adjacent Sea Breeze Motel is run by the same operation.
