Pacifica's finest upscale dining at 105 Rockaway Beach Ave with floor-to-ceiling ocean windows, fresh Dungeness crab, and Maine lobster.
Moonraker occupies the Lighthouse Hotel on Rockaway Beach Avenue in Pacifica, where floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the beach and surf. Chef and owner Jason Yeafoli builds a seafood-led menu that includes Dungeness crab cioppino, seared sea scallops, lobster tails, oysters and corn saffron ravioli, with steaks also offered. The bar is known for local California wines, beers and Pacifica-inspired cocktails such as the Pacific Sunset. The name comes from the nautical term for a sail used on clipper ships, also called a moonsail. Live piano runs Tuesday through Sunday, and the restaurant handles private dining, weddings and a food truck called Moonraker Mobile.
