The market was founded by Sami and is now run by his three sons — Big Sam, Little Sam, and Wally — who have maintained the same formula that made it a local institution: fresh bread delivered every morning, made-to-order sandwiches, and genuinely friendly counter service.
The deli is the main draw. Breakfast sandwiches are the signature item, available from the moment the doors open at 6 AM weekdays. The sandwich menu spans hot pastrami, roast beef on sourdough, Philly cheesesteak with Jack cheese, BLT with avocado, turkey club, Italian sub, burgers, and cheeseburgers — all built on Dutch crunch or fresh-delivered sourdough.
