Thomas Fogarty Winery was founded in 1981 by Dr. Thomas Fogarty with winemaker Michael Martella, on an estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains about 2,000 feet above the valley floor. About thirty acres of vineyard are farmed organically, and the winery makes limited-production, single-vineyard wines such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The tasting room offers walk-in tastings at the bar, reserved seated indoor and patio flights, estate walking tours and vineyard tours. Cheese and charcuterie are sold on site.
