Authentic Mexican and Salvadoran taqueria with weekend menudo, super burritos, pupusas, and no-frills hearty plates at working-class prices.
Tres Hermanos Taqueria & Pupuseria brings Mexican plates and Salvadoran pupusas together on Moffett Boulevard in Mountain View. Quesabirria with consommé, tacos, burritos, and filled pupusas give a table several different starting points. We like the opportunity to mix those familiar favorites instead of choosing only one style of meal. The seafood section adds substantial variety, including fried mojarra, garlic shrimp, spicy camarones a la diabla, ceviche, and aguachile. Carne asada, fajitas, enchiladas, and chile relleno offer further plate-style choices. Menudo, pozole, and caldo de res provide warming soup options, while breakfast dishes such as huevos rancheros extend the menu into the morning. Tres Hermanos's appeal is its broad, approachable selection, with room for a quick pupusa order, a shared taco meal, or a more substantial seafood dinner.
