Watch chefs prepare housemade comfort food in an open kitchen.
Breakfast and lunch have been served here since 1993, in one of the oldest buildings on Burlingame Avenue. Swedish oatmeal pancakes are the cafe signature, part of a housemade comfort food menu. Seating spans tables, a sidewalk section, a parklet, and a counter that looks into the open kitchen. The cafe is first come, first serve with no reservations, and it is moving to an employee ownership model as founders Teresa and Francesca step back.
