Back A Yard Caribbean Grill has cooked Caribbean and American food in the Bay Area since 2004 and now runs five locations, including one in Menlo Park. The signature combination is the jerk chicken and beef oxtail plate, with curried goat, barbecue spareribs, vegetarian jerk tofu, coconut curried tofu and a Caribbean Cobb salad among the other favorites. The name refers to a Caribbean expression for the way things are done back home. Eater SF included the restaurant in its 25 Essential South Bay Area Restaurants list in April 2023.
