Caffeinated Cowboy

Caffeinated Cowboy is a locally and woman-owned specialty coffee shop on South El Camino Real in San Mateo, founded by a barista with a decade behind the espresso bar. The menu centers on fully customizable drinks across three categories: espresso-based lattes, Homestead Matcha creations, and Reviver Red Bull refreshers, all built to order with flavored syrups and house-made cold foams. Signature drinks include the Toasted Saddle, a latte topped with marshmallow cold foam, and the Monkey Matcha with banana and white chocolate cold foam. Breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and pastries round out the food menu. The western themed branding gives the shop a distinct identity, and the staff is known for helping guests build custom drinks on the spot. San Mateo is one of three Bay Area locations, alongside Santa Rosa and Pleasanton.
