Chef Scott Clark, formerly of Michelin-starred Saison, serves California comfort food from a historic red train caboose at Shoreline Station.
Dad's Luncheonette operates out of a historic train caboose on Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, serving American roadside classics with a California focus drawn from nearby coastal farms. The Dad is Scott Clark, formerly a chef de cuisine at a three Michelin star restaurant, who wanted a lifestyle change after becoming a father. The short menu centers on a grassfed hamburger sandwich and a maitake mushroom sandwich, both with soft egg, melty cheese and Dad's sauce on grilled white bread, with hand-sliced potato chips and mac and cheese alongside.
