Gherkin's Sandwich Shop opened in Montara in 2012, added a second location in downtown San Carlos in 2013, and later opened a third in Half Moon Bay. The craft sandwiches are built with turkey, roast beef, pastrami, ham, and salami, along with vegetarian options and special breakfast and frittata sandwiches. Salads and burgers round out the menu.
