A Coastside landmark perched on a cliff above the Pacific, dating back to Prohibition.
Moss Beach Distillery sits on a cliff above the Pacific in Moss Beach, with an ocean view from every table. The name is historical rather than literal: the site notes this is not a distillery but a restaurant and bar named by owners more than 50 years ago to connect with the building's Prohibition-era history. Dishes include Distillery steamers, Coast sliders of ahi tuna, crab cake and salmon, panko-crusted halibut with apricot couscous, skirt steak with chimichurri, prawn Louie, and prime rib. The heated Seal Cove patio has fire pits and welcomes well-behaved dogs, and OpenTable named the restaurant among the Top 100 Best Scenic View Restaurants in America.
