Family-owned Italian restaurant operating for over 30 years, steps from Pillar Point Harbor.
Mezza Luna opened in 1993 as the vision of three friends whose culinary careers spanned the globe before they settled on the Half Moon Bay coast. The kitchen works in southern Italian dishes with a California flair, including spaghetti con polpette, lasagna alla Bolognese, linguine della Baia, salmone alla Dolores, and agnello scottadito. The restaurant occupies the historic Princeton Inn, dating to about 1906, and keeps two dining rooms available for private events.
