Established in 1970, Heidi's Pies is described on its site as a legendary San Mateo landmark. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner items are available at any time of day in an expansive dining area with both tables and counter seating, and daily specials cover entrees as well as pies. The site says the pies were voted the best in the Bay Area, made with fresh fruit and no preservatives.
