La Fiesta has served Mexican food in Mountain View since 1977. Grandma's Especial, also called Enjococado, is a family recipe dating back more than 100 years, a chicken breast cooked in a sour cream base with mild chiles and spices. The kitchen grinds cocoa beans, spices, nuts and seeds with a dash of Mexican chocolate for its mole poblano, and the menu also includes tortilla soup, carne asada salad and shrimp plates. The restaurant hosts private events.
