Mr. Pan Bistro brings Taiwanese comfort food to 711 El Camino Real in Redwood City, the former home of Redwood Bistro. Chef-owner Jimmy Pan first opened the restaurant in Cupertino in 2023 and began serving in Redwood City in September 2026. The menu centers on Taiwanese braised pork rice, lunch boxes and sizzling black pepper beef or chicken, along with popcorn chicken rice and individual hot pots such as spicy beef and sesame oil chicken. Milk teas and other tea drinks round out the menu. The dining room seats about 50 guests indoors. Check the restaurant’s website for the current menu.
