Founded in 1952 by Russ, who wanted a hamburger built with thick slices of onion along with tomato and lettuce, the operation became a chain after Dale bought an Oakland restaurant in 1970 and partnered with him. The menu covers giant hamburgers, giant burritos, breakfast and the pies the company is named for. Grant Power became president in 2015. Dine in service, online ordering and catering are all available.
