Family owned since 1995, serving authentic street style tacos and spicy salsas.
Tacos el Grullense began in 1979 as a food truck in Los Angeles, and after nearly a decade the founders moved to the Bay Area to open a restaurant built on the same street style tacos and spicy salsas. The E&E location opened in Redwood City in 1995 and remains family owned and operated. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and sopes come with a choice of asada, pastor, carnitas, pollo, lengua, cabeza, or tripas, and weekends add birria, the traditional goat stew from Jalisco, served with handmade corn tortillas.
