Sandwiches, salads, and soups make up the menu at The Good Life Sandwich Co. in San Carlos. Signature builds include a turkey sandwich on dutch crunch with Diestel free-range turkey roasted in house, cheddar, avocado, and chive dijonnaise, and a smoked chicken sandwich on sourdough with Willie Bird smoked chicken, pepper jack, and Calabrian chile garlic aioli. The shop bakes naturally leavened bread each day, hand-carves whole cuts of meat, and makes its dressings and au jus in house.
