Three-time Palo Alto Weekly best Italian restaurant winner with housemade pasta and organic ingredients for 30-plus years.
Cafe Pro Bono has served Italian and European food in Palo Alto for a legacy spanning more than 30 years. Dishes include linguine vongole, pesto gnocchi, cheese and herb ravioli in gorgonzola sauce, squid ink pasta with shrimp, pink risotto, beef carpaccio, and tiramisu. Owner Akif Aydin personally selects the wines, and the full bar carries more than 300 of them. Palo Alto Weekly named the restaurant Best Italian Restaurant in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and three private rooms handle events.
