Homemade corn tortillas accompany the meals at this South San Francisco family restaurant, which previously operated as La Perla. The kitchen turns out barbacoa tacos, carnitas, chile rellenos, birria, fajitas, caldo de res and seafood cocktails, with menudo offered on weekends. The building is a converted house with several indoor rooms, a back patio and a full bar pouring beer on tap and tequila. A separate banquet room handles private events, and take-out and catering are available.
