Authentic Levantine flavors prepared over mesquite wood fire, featuring expertly grilled meats and signature garlic sauce.
Mazra puts live-fire cooking at the heart of its Mediterranean menu on Broadway in Redwood City. The double kebab plate lets diners choose two mesquite-grilled kebabs and build a meal around rice, pita, garlic toum, hot sauce, pickles, and sides. We like the way that format brings the grilled centerpiece and its accompaniments together while leaving room for personal preferences. Wraps offer another approach. Chicken shawarma arrives in lavash with garlic toum and pickles, while the street wrap brings together a choice of protein, fries, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and tzatziki in pita. The drinks deserve attention too, from mint and raspberry lemonades to a banana-date shake made with oat milk. Mazra's appeal is the contrast between mesquite-grilled food, tangy accompaniments, generous sauces, and fruit-forward drinks that give the meal its own personality.
