Family run Turkish spot with scratch made kebabs, pides, mezze, and fresh baked bread. Don't miss the kunefe dessert.
Nomadic Kitchen makes it easy to build a Turkish meal around several things you want to try. The Broadway restaurant in Redwood City offers mezze combinations alongside chicken, beef, lamb, and kofte kebabs. We like the opportunity to begin with contrasting small dishes, such as smoky eggplant babaganoush, cucumber salad, white bean piyaz, and herb-filled tzatziki. Dolma and ezme add more choices to that first round, while lentil soup provides a comforting alternative. Lahmacun and several pides give the bread-based dishes a substantial role, including sucuklu and Samsun Bafra variations. A falafel plate offers another route through the menu. Kunefe and katmer bring distinctive Turkish desserts into the picture. Nomadic Kitchen is especially appealing for a shared meal that moves from dips and salads to kebabs or pide, with something sweet still worth saving room for.
