Palette Tea Garden serves dim sum, Cantonese roast meats and seafood in a San Mateo dining room of more than 8,000 square feet, with a full bar, an outdoor patio and several private spaces that seat up to 350 for a full buyout. Iberico cha siu pork from Spain and roasted Peking duck are among the signature dishes. The restaurant comes from the team behind Koi Palace, Dragon Beaux and Palette Tea House, founded by the Ng family, who brought the yum cha tradition from Hong Kong to San Francisco in 1996.
