A warm community space inspired by gathering for coffee and stories.
Founded by four great-grandsons of Penelope of Kambi, Crete, this coffee and tea shop takes its name and its idea from a woman known for warmth and kindness who gathered neighbors for coffee and home-cooked meals. The company describes itself as not simply a coffee shop but a lifestyle and a culture, meant for sharing stories about life, troubles, triumphs, and gratitude. Along with the Foster City cafe, locations include San Francisco, Berkeley, San Mateo, and Daly City, and catering and an online shop are available.
