Outdoor seating overlooks the serene lagoon for peaceful brunch dining
Nina's Cafe gives empanada fans room to mix and match at its Foster City location. Beef, spicy chicken, and ham sit alongside mushroom and spinach options, making the filling selection the main attraction. We like being able to assemble an order with several different savory choices instead of committing the whole meal to one flavor. The menu also separates meat, vegetable, and sweet empanadas, with sauces available to accompany them. Breakfast and lunch sections broaden the choices, and Nina's Burrito provides an alternative when a larger handheld meal sounds appealing. Coffee, tea, juices, and canned drinks offer simple pairings. Nina's appeal lies in that café-and-empanada combination: it can be a stop for a few pastries and a drink, or a place to explore a broader order of savory fillings and something sweet.
