Persian and steakhouse hybrid with halal aged meats, barg kabob, saffron rice and private dining rooms.
Arya Steakhouse pairs modern Iranian cooking with hand-cut prime steaks on University Avenue in Palo Alto, and the entire menu is halal. Meat is butchered in house, including a ribeye aged 28 days, alongside a tomahawk, kebobs, and a seafood tower. Persian art and tapestries line the dining room, and two private rooms, the Executive and the Shiraz, seat 18 and 30. Chef Mike Hashemi and Fera Hashemi founded the company in Cupertino in 2007, and the restaurant lists a DiRoNA Award of Excellence and an OpenTable Diners' Choice honor.
