Customizable ramen with handmade noodles and affordable prices. Family run with warm, welcoming service.
Charley Noodle & Grill makes noodles the starting point for a varied meal on State Street in Los Altos. Braised pork ramen, beef ramen, seafood udon, and chicken chow mein offer different broths, noodle styles, and toppings. We like that the selection moves comfortably between a warming bowl and a stir-fried noodle plate. Spicy ground-pork dan dan yi mein and eggplant with ground pork over fried noodles add further choices. Cutlet curry and rice bowls offer an alternative for anyone whose appetite points away from noodles. Shrimp wontons, pan-fried pork buns, siu mai, tempura, and takoyaki give a group several small dishes to share. Charley's appeal is that flexibility: an individual bowl can make a straightforward lunch, while a few starters and contrasting mains turn the same menu into a more exploratory meal.
