Opened in June 2023, the San Carlos location of Doppio Zero serves Neapolitan pizza certified Vera Pizza Napoletana by VPN Americas, made with refined 00 flour, baked in a wood-fired dome running at 900 degrees and topped with local produce. Italian-born pizzaiolos also turn out homemade pastas and Southern Italian dishes such as vitello tonnato, zuppa di pesce, lasagna and tiramisu. The group says the pizzeria was named 15th best in the United States by 50TopPizza and has been featured in the Michelin Guide. Outdoor seating, catering and private parties are available.
