Northern California roadside classic known for grass-fed burgers, crispy onion rings, and seasonal milkshakes in a bustling open-air setting.
Gott's began in 1999 as a roadside diner on Highway 29 in Napa Valley and now runs locations across California, including one in Palo Alto. The menu is a modern take on American roadside classics: a California burger with fried egg, bacon and balsamic onions, a green chile cheeseburger, ahi poke crispy tacos, and chicken schnitzel with harissa and turmeric spiced mayos. Wine and beer skew California, and the picnic-table setting takes no reservations. The company describes itself as James Beard award winning.
