Bay Area handmade dim sum, egg tarts, and milk tea.
Hongry Kong makes group meals more interesting with dim sum, Chinese entrées, and a substantial set of vegetable dishes. Its Belmont catering menu includes pork-and-shrimp siu mai, shrimp dumplings, barbecue pork buns, and lotus-wrapped sticky rice. We like having several small bites to combine before choosing a rice or noodle-based main. Spicy wontons use a chili-and-peanut sauce, while popcorn chicken provides another savory sharing option. The plant-based selections deserve attention too: vegan dim sum platters, mushroom-and-bean-curd buns, and tofu with eggplant in black bean sauce offer alternatives across the menu. Beef stir-fries and stews bring more substantial choices to a catered meal. Hongry Kong's Old County Road operation is appealing for the breadth of these combinations, especially when feeding a group with different preferences.
