Family-owned serving high quality authentic Mexican food for 26 years. Warm, friendly service.
Taqueria Los Primos makes its North B Street menu in San Mateo about more than choosing a taco filling. Carne asada, carnitas, chile verde, and chorizo can anchor an order, but fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche tostadas, and seafood plates open up other directions. We like how much variety sits behind the familiar taqueria format. Burritos come in several styles, including a California version with fries and a wet burrito topped with melted cheese and red or green salsa. Tortas range from breaded beef to a Hawaiian combination of ham and pineapple. For a bowl rather than a handheld meal, the menu lists chicken soup, beef soup, and carne en su jugo. Horchata, jamaica, and fresh juices round out a selection that works for both a quick taco order and a more substantial Mexican meal.
